Clockwork-Prince-CVR

Last night I finished Cassandra Clare’s Clockwork Prince, and loved it! I don’t know what happened with the first book, but this one was great. Just think that if I hadn’t already bought it I would’ve never read it, because of how much I disliked Clockwork Angel.

This book picks up right where the previous book left off, but the dynamics in the love triangle were better developed. Not just the three main characters, but all the characters were better developed.

What I liked was that the book finally revealed mysteries from Clockwork Angelbut didn’t pose too many new ones in this book. That was the thing I hated most about CA. Too many loose ends, and not enough payoff. Where CA made me wish I had never bought CPCP has left me eager for the third book, Clockwork Princess which will be released in 2013. No news yet on what I’ll read next. So many books on my Nook, I can’t decide.

  3. I recommend naked lunch by waililm burroughs. It is a book which some consider genius and others nonsense why don’t you read or should i say experience it and make up your own mind.

  4. Yeah, she does tend to create these rich worlds, but doesn’t explore them fully once she gets caught up in the love triangles. I want to know more about Idris, and the Shadowhunters’ history. I know they get into it in the Mortal Instruments series, but I feel there is so much still to learn.
