Sara Shepard’s 5th book in her Pretty Little Liars series, “Wicked,” picks up with the girls awaiting their friend Alison’s accused killer’s trial. The girls are still receiving messages from “A #2”, while dealing with the new notoriety that comes from being Ali’s friends. Hannah is now living with her father, step-mother-to-be Isabella, and step-sister Kate.  Aria’s mother, Ella, is back in the dating world with Aria’s latest crush. Emily is confused when she develops feelings for a new boy. Spencer is navigating the fallout from her plagiarizing confession, while possibly gaining a new boyfriend.

Book Review: Unbelievable – A Pretty Little Liars Book

Even though much of the storyline is similar to the television series, fans of the show will be able to enjoy reading the book series. The novels are different enough that it’s almost like getting an extra episode of Pretty Little Liars, but similar enough that it’s almost like reliving the episodes all over again.
