The Pretty Little Liars Have Yet To Learn, “All you need to do is tell the truth, and everything will be alright.”

This week on Pretty Little Liars, the girls all rally around Hanna as Mrs. Marin is refused bail and transferred to the state prison in Muncy, Pennsylvania. Aria discovers Mike is being bullied by the other members of the lacrosse team, and has decided to take up Tae Kwon Do in order to defend himself. Spencer meets the newest member of her mother’s firm, and finds out the hard way he’s a very observant young man. Emily faces her future as she deals with losing her house, and her mom’s depression. In episode 408, “The Guilty Girl’s Handbook,” all the Liars struggle with guilt from their recent actions. The consequences of which have landed on those closest to them.

LUCY HALE“I’m going to confess to Wilden’s murder.” When Hanna learns Mrs. Hastings wasn’t able to get her mom out on bail, Hanna enlists Mona to help her come up with a good lie for her confession to Wilden’s murder. It was great to see Janel Parish back as Mona, because it feels like it’s been forever since we’ve seen her. The questions she asked Hanna were spot on, and proves Mona does her homework. In the end Mona confessed to the crime, and I hope it was to spare her former bestie the trauma of having to do it herself. Besides, Mona already has a spotty police record thanks to her “A-Team” shenanigans, and Hanna is spot clean thanks to Wilden wiping out the shoplifting charge. Oh, the irony! (More…)
