Top Five Tuesday: Top Ten Authors Who Push my One-Click Button

This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is to list the “Top Ten Authors Who Push my One-Click Button.” Honestly, I don’t have ten authors who I’ll buy no matter what. Currently, I only have five. Those that made my Top Five are authors that I’ll buy no matter what the book is about. I don’t even have to read the synopsis. As soon as I learn they have something new in the works it’s a done deal. I trust them to write something I know I’ll love, and will probably read again and again. Or at the very least want to. Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. So without further ado, here is my “Top Ten Authors Who Push my One-Click Button.”

  2. Jennifer L. Armentrout
  3. J. R. Ward
  4. Neil Gaiman
  5. Cassandra Clare

Honorable Mentions

These authors almost made the cut. Ernest Cline only has two books to his name, but both are two of my favorite books. In fact, Armada made him a One-Click Author, and the only reason he’s not list above is because he hasn’t written the amount of books the above authors have. Bernard Cornwell has written lots of books, but I’ve only read one of his series so it’s too soon to tell. Rick Riordan solidified his place in my heart with his Percy Jackson and his Heroes of Olympus series. However, I didn’t care for The Red Pyramid, and never finished the series. I’m hoping his new series, Magnus Chase, will place him back to the One-Click category. As for Stephen King and James Patterson, they used to be in the above category, but have since been demoted. Both have put out too many books that have disappointed me in recent years, and are authors I no longer really read. Yet, I have been planning on returning to them. I guess you can say I’m loyal to a fault.
