Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews. This meme gives bloggers a chance to share with readers what we bought, borrowed, swapped, won or received for review each week. I also decided that I would do a weekly recap, and link up with The Sunday Post, which is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer, that was inspired in part by In My Mailbox. It’s a post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

life outside the ‘net
I finally went back to work on Tuesday. With Veteran’s Day, I only had to work three days, so it was the perfect week to return. One of the problems that was causing me anxiety may be working itself out, so that was a major plus. Last week was the week report cards were due, so I had to take care of that. However, that wasn’t such a big deal as I had already done most of them while I was on sick leave. Outside of work, I just took it easy and released.
I’m really excited for this week, as the kids get out a little early every day for Parent/Teacher conferences. I usually get a lot of done in my room that week, because most of the parents who come like to come right when school ends, so I’m able to get them out-of-the-way. Usually, I work on my bulletin boards, grades, or any projects I haven’t had a chance to get to. Another reason I’m excited for this week, is that I’ll be getting ready to travel to the Bay Area to spend the week with family up north for the holiday. We have a really good together, and it’s a nice family tradition. I’ll give more on that in two weeks.

Come Back to Me (Come Back to Me) by Mila Gray looks like such an emotional read doesn’t it? It sounds like it was a busy week, good thing for the holiday?
No, not too busy. Kind of laid back. This week will be busy, though. Yeah, I’m looking forward to reading the book. I hope to get to it soon. Have a great week!
I loved Fallen by Lauren Kate! I heard they are making a movie version which should be interesting! I reviewed Designed for Murder as well. It was an interesting book! I haven’t read a book with a character who LARPs!
Yeah, they’re making a Fallen movie. That’s partly why I’ve finally decided to check the series out. It’s been on my TBR for years. DFM was pretty interesting, wasn’t it? That was also my first book with a LARPer. Kinda cool!
So many good books this week. So glad you think things are working out. Hope this week is a good one for you.
Thanks Kimberly!
You got some wonderful books. Wasn’t it nice to have a day off in the middle of the week? I work as an Aide in a classroom. I am a new follower via Bloglovin. Have a great week.
It was nice. It’s even nicer to know I’ll have next week off for Thanksgiving. YAY! Thanks for following! Have a great week as well.
It’s good to hear you are feeling better and returned to work. I hope you have fun in the Bay Area. I’ll also be going to the Bay Area for Thanksgiving but returning that night since I have to work on Friday. Have a great week!
We usually have a good time when we get together. The family from up north comes down for Christmas. I hope you have a nice holiday as well. Dress warmly! It’s been getting so chilly all of the sudden. Too bad you won’t be able to visit longer. Thanks! You, too!
I’m using Winter as my Nano incentive. So I won’t buy it until I’ve written my novel… I am so itching to read it! Great haul.
Oh, wow! Good luck with Nano! Every year I say I’ll participate, but… LOL! Thanks for stopping by!
I hope your works days went pretty well. Anxiety is hard to deal with, but I a glad to hear one of the problems that caused you anxiety is probably getting solved. I hope you will enjoy your trip to the Bay Area in two weeks!
November 9 looks good and I heard soem great things about it so far, I hope you’ll enjoy it. I still haven’t started the Lunar Chronicles, but it’s on my to-read list! Have a great week!
Thanks! I’m feeling better, and looking forward to my trip. November 9 was great! I was the characters were very likable, and the story was really good. I hope you also have a great week!
