The Week in Review

I decided that I would do a weekly recap, and link up with The Sunday Post, which is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer, that was inspired in part by In My Mailbox. It’s a post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

This week was a very busy week once again. I’ve been having plumbing problems, so getting that taken care of has been a priority. Hopefully by Monday, everything will be back in working order. Aside from home drama, I’ve been working with my students, and going to a lot of meetings. For some reason a couple of my girls surprised me this week with presents. That made my week. I  went to work Saturday to do some work in my classroom. The bright side is my Barnes & Noble book order came, and I got a lot of books on my TBR. Getting hardcovers for $10 each was too good to pass up.

OMG, yeah, I have so many books to read on my shelves I’ve run out of room! They were really sweet, and it was so unexpected. Have a great week!

      1. I love it when book orders come in. 🙂 And those challenges look fun- dystopian and Reading England both look good. Sorry to hear about the plumbing problems- that’s never fun!

Have a good week and happy reading. 🙂

I love when book orders arrive, too! I hate waiting for packages to come in the mail. I’m such an instant gratification person. The plumbing problems are fixed now, so that’s a relief. Thanks for stopping by!

Yeah, I’m really happy about my presents and new books. That really made my week. I was so glad I found that sale, because those books have been on my TBR list for ages. Have a great week!

      2. Did you just say hardcovers for $10??! WOWW. you sure did well. xD I got my book order today too, hehe, so that made my Monday quite pleasant. Basically book orders = making a day infinitely better. *happy sigh*
Hope you have a good week!
Thanks for stopping by @ Paper Fury!

Yeah! B&N was having a 2/$20 sale on YA. They had so many great books, I just wish I had more money to buy more. It was like they put my entire TBR list on sale 🙂 Receiving book orders is the best. I hope you got some really good ones. Happy reading!

IDK, I guess the crazy weather is affecting everyone’s pipes. Luckily, mine are taken care of. For a while, though, it was pretty bad. Have a great week!

My plumbing is all good now. Thanks! Yeah, I did get some good deals on the books, andI can’t wait to read them.

      3. I hope your plumbing problems get solved soon! It’s always annoying when there’s something wrong in your house and it needs to get solved. Looks like you had a busy month on the blog. And yay for making some progress on your challenges, I am also doing well with Coyer. I hope you’ll enjoy your new books and have a great week!
