I decided that I would do a weekly recap, and link up with The Sunday Post, which is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer, that was inspired in part by In My Mailbox. Itβs a post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog. This was another short week due to my extended Labor Day weekend, and it was painful. I don’t know what it is about short work weeks, but they feel longer than normal weeks. Even my students thought so. When Friday came, we were all ready for it to be over. It didn’t help that I came down with a sinus cold last Saturday, so I spent the majority of the week feeling out of sorts.
This week will be another short week as I head back home to Michigan Thursday morning to attend two weddings. I can’t wait to see my mom, and pick up all the things I forgot to pack when I was last there. Plus, seeing my best friend walk down the aisle will be wonderful. We’ve been friends for 32 years, so this is a major event for me. I’m also a bridesmaid. Woo hoo! The next day my god sister gets married. Since it’s on a Sunday, I won’t head back to LA until Monday morning. That means three days off work. I was afraid to tell my boss, but she was cool with it. Phew! Since next weekend will be wedding central, I’ll see you guys in two weeks. I’ll make sure to take loads of photos to share with you all π

Thanks, I did have a nice flight. The weddings were fun. I’ll post pics in this week’s post.
You’re like the third person today who’s said it seemed like a longer week even though it was shorter lol. That’s awesome that your best friend is getting married and you get to be a bridesmaid! And two weddings that you’ll be attending in one weekend, no less! Have a fun time π

I just think that this school year has been a bit stressful, because so much has been happening lately. I’m hoping next week flies by. Being a bridesmaid was fun. It’s been a while since I’ve done it. Hope your week was nice!
Congrats to your friend and god sister on their nuptials!!! I wish for you unlimited amounts of energy to tackle the two weddings back to back like that. See you in 2 weeks

Luckily, the weddings were both in the late afternoon so I was able to sleep in. LOL! If not, I think I would have been exhausted. Thanks for stopping by!
Weddings galore! I hope you have a great time and some days of work sound perfect.
I hope you enjoy the bridesmaid gig and the visit home!
