THE WEEKs IN REVIEW: “Down and Out in L.A.” (December 4th – December 17th)

Posted December 18, 2016 by @Angelized_1st in Memes, The Sunday Post / 9 Comments

I decided that I would do a weekly recap, and link up with The Sunday Post, which is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer, that was inspired in part by In My Mailbox. It’s a post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

Sorry I’ve been MIA lately, but I’ve been down for the count this past week with a head cold. I’m still sickly, but am feeling much better. Thank God! Lucky for me, I’m officially on Winter Break for the next 3 weeks, which will give me plenty of time to recover. As I’ve been sick, I don’t have too much to report. Friday was my last day at work in 2016, and it was a nice day. I’ve spent most of my free time in bed resting, so not much happened in my life other than reading a few books. So the good news is I have a slew of reviews waiting in the wings. I’ll try to get them up ASAP, or as my energy allows.

I hope all of you have a wonderful holiday season, enjoy your friends and families, and stay safe!

Thanks for stopping by, Megan! I hope you continue to enjoy the BDB series. It starts to get a bit congested (character wise) in the higher digits, but I think gets back on track with book 10. Still, I enjoy every single one. Happy holidays!

Sorry for the late reply, this one got lost in the wrong place. JR Ward is so fun! I love BDB! I prefer the earlier books to some of the later ones, but the last three have begun turning things around some. I’m kind of excited for the new one this year, The Chosen, but also dreading it since I don’t like Xcor. I’m sure it’ll surprise me. Enjoy the series!

  1. I hope you feel better! My husband and kids are sick too and I’m starting to feel sick. I hope we both get over this cold fast. I can’t wait to watch Figures too. I hope you have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I hope you all are on the mend, Kathy. Nothing worse than being sick during a social time of year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family as well 🙂

It seems like everyone is getting sick. Must be going around. I hope you’re feeling better so you can enjoy your break. Merry Christmas!

Thanks, Deborah! I am feeling much better. I think having time off has already been very helpful. Happy holidays!
