I decided that I would do a weekly recap, and link up with The Sunday Post, which is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer, that was inspired in part by In My Mailbox. It’s a post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
This week was the first week back to work after the winter break, and it was a doozy. Not only was it raining cats and dogs both Monday and Tuesday as a winter storm hit Los Angeles, but our playground is under construction. Which of course meant the school was on inclement weather schedule all week-long. Boo! I lost my morning prep time, my 20-minute break, and 10 minutes of my lunch. While I enjoy my students, I think we were all tired of each other by the end of the week. I was so ready to have a three-day weekend. #teacherlife When I wasn’t getting used to being back at work I tried to keep up with all of my hobbies. Sadly, most fell by the wayside as I got hooked on my book. Hopefully next week I can do better with my knitting.

Yeah, but I think this week will be better. I’m not over winter just yet, since ours was quite delayed. However, I am tired of being locked in my classroom all day with my students. LOL! Have a great week!
Sorry the weather and playground are making things more stressful at work, but at least you’ve got good books! 😉 HAve a great week 🙂
