Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Could Re-read Forever

Posted January 30, 2018 by @Angelized_1st in Memes, Top Ten Tuesday / 2 Comments

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

How it works:

I assign each Tuesday a topic and then post my top ten list that fits that topic. You’re more than welcome to join me and create your own top ten (or 2, 5, 20, etc.) list as well. Feel free to put a unique spin on the topic to make it work for you! Please link back to That Artsy Reader Girl in your own post so that others know where to find more information.

The books below are books I have read more than once. In many cases, I’ve read these books more than twice. These are books I pick up when I’m in a reading slump, I’m feeling down, or I want to escape into another world. Four of these books are a  part of a series, and if I start one I undoubtedly want to read the entire series as well. However, sometimes I just read the first novel to rediscover why I fell in love with it in the first place. These books are like old friends. Reading them is comforting to me, and if I could only own ten books, these would be the ten I would pick. No matter how many times I read them they never get old, and I’m always finding something new with each reading.

Yeah, I really enjoyed doing this one. It was so easy for me to choose. Funny, considering how many books I read a year. You’d think it would be harder.
