Top Ten Tuesday: Ten Best Paranormal & Fantasy Romance Novels

Posted February 13, 2018 by @Angelized_1st in Memes, Top Ten Tuesday / 9 Comments

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

How it works:

I assign each Tuesday a topic and then post my top ten list that fits that topic. You’re more than welcome to join me and create your own top ten (or 2, 5, 20, etc.) list as well. Feel free to put a unique spin on the topic to make it work for you! Please link back to That Artsy Reader Girl in your own post so that others know where to find more information.

As you know, I’m a sucker for book series which is probably why the majority of these books are the first novel in a series. However, instead of doing the Top Ten series, I decided to just name the first novel in the series. I won’t lie. Some of these series have better novels than the first. Some may even showcase the main romance in a better light. However, these books were the first to ensnare me into discovering a brand new (to me) series. They sucked me in, and have remained memorable years after putting them down.

  1. I’ve wanted to read The Vampire Academy series for a while, ever since I saw the movie. Wanted to see what the books were like! And The Time Travelers Wife I’ve heard a lot of good stuff about too!

The Vampire Academy series is better than the movie. I definitely recommend it. Also, the Bloodlines spin-off was even better.

  2. I still have yet to finish the Lux series but I’m torn between rereading the series to refresh my memory or just jumping straight into the final book And I’ve had Vampire Academy in my sights for quite some time, hopefully I can find a copy in my library.

I know how you feel. I also have a couple series I need to complete, but it been so long since I read the last book that I don’t know if I should re-read them or not. Vampire Academy was really good. I actually gave the series to one of my cousins for Christmas one year. When she cleaned out her room, I ended up getting them back. I’ve thought about reading it again, but who has the time?

OMG, I’m completely hooked on her books! I actually had to restrain myself from getting more from the library so I can read other things. LOL!
