2016 Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and this week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is “Ten Books Set Outside The US.” These books have been favorites through the years. Some like Romeo & Juliet are long-time favorites, while others (The Last Kingdom) are recent ones. When I picked my books, I tried to find books from as many different countries as possible, so that my list would be diverse. If you’re looking to read a book set in a foreign local, you can’t go wrong with any of these.

I love Hamlet! It’s probably my 2nd favorite after Romeo & Juliet. Glad you stopped by! Have a great week!

Thanks! I was trying to get away from posting YA as much as possible, since that’s my go-to genre. Have a great week!

I loved The Wrath & the Dawn! I had it for a year before I read it, and then read it after I picked up the sequel. Such a great story! Glad you enjoyed the list. I was trying to get away from all the books I read set in England. Anne Frank and Memoirs are both very good books. Hope you get the chance to check them out 🙂

I haven’t read it since high school, but it has stayed with me ever since. Thanks for stopping by!
