Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and this week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is “Ten Books That Have Been On Your Shelf (Or TBR) From Before You Started Blogging That You STILL Haven’t Read Yet.” The books I picked have either lingered on my bookshelf or reader for forever. It’s not that I don’t want to read them, but that there’s just so many good books out there to read. That, and I keep getting invested in new series that require me to read ALL THE BOOKS. So without further ado, here are my “Ten Books That Have Been On My TBR That I STILL Haven’t Read Yet.”

Oh I need to read more Sherlock Holmes! I read A Study in Scarlet this year because I figured I really couldn’t call myself a rabid fan of all the retellings unless I tried the original?! Bahaha. Ahem. Anyway, it wasn’t bad, although the retellings = waaaay better. (Shh, that’s probably evil to admit. But there. I said it.)
I totally hear you on not having enough time to read everything! MY LIFE. I just get caught up with so many books and how are we even supposed to priorities?!? IT’S SO HARD.

Hahahaha! I don’t think I’ve ever read a Sherlock re-telling. Anything I should check out?
Now that I’m back to work, I find myself falling asleep at senior citizen hours 🙁 Technically I have time to read, I just have acquired a strange case of narcolepsy upon turning 38 years old. I guess… LMFAO!
Ah Sherlock Holmes, the stories are awesome!! I hope you enjoy them when you get to them!!

I think the only Sherlock story I’ve ever read is The Hounds of the Baskervilles, but I’ve always wanted to read them. Hopefully I’ll get to them before the year is out, because it’s beyond ridiculous considering how long I’ve had them. Ha!
